When we roast, we do our best to enhance the natural flavors in the beans. Coffee has a wide variety of flavor profiles, from chocolate to caramel to blueberry. While that’s very important to some people, not everyone needs to identify a “hint of stonefruit,” or describe the “creamy mouthfeel.” Some people just want to drink good coffee. And we appreciate that.
Our hope is simply for you to say, “I like this one better.” When we describe the flavor notes unique to each coffee, it’s more about guiding you to your favorite coffee than maintaining an air of pretentiousness. You may find a taste you like, even if you can’t or don’t care to identify it. We love helping you explore those differences so you can find the one you really do like best.
